It's like riding a bicycle.
Aug. 18th, 2019 12:00 pmI got a library card! It's been years. I feel like I've restored a small but important piece of my identity.
(Subject heading is for my own amusement, mostly: yes, it feels very familiar and it all comes back very quickly, but it's also like riding a bicycle because biking everywhere and living in the public library were two of the few really positive make-me-feel-like-a-me-I-like-being parts of my long-ago adolescence. So it's good to reconnect with that feeling and that me.)
